Family Table Restaurant in Atlantic

Had the fried chicken/breaded chicken salad (not sure what the official name was). The chicken was unrecognizable and looked like it was cut off leftovers from someone’s chicken strips - those edges people don’t eat because they’re too fried. And they tasted funny, like fish. Menu listed it as a salad of mixed greens, and it was just iceberg lettuce. I was with friends I didn’t want to make uncomfortable so I didn’t complain. Wait staff was wonderful. She worked hard and was efficient.

Service sucked... I ordered a breaded cod fillet there was so much grease under it like it went from the fryer to the plate and not even drained..... my wife ordered a steak and wanted it med and came out raw in the middle... they really need to hire a cook that actually know how to cook and not one that's a wannabe cook.... it's too bad cause i want to support my town restaurant but I would rather go to McDonald's.... won't be going back there again...

We enjoyed breakfast/lunch here last Saturday with a friend.This is clearly a local favorite and provided tasty food at a reasonable price. Even though it was busy, there were plenty of tables.Our server was friendly, helpful, served us quickly, then let us converse without interruption. I liked it because the food was good and there weren't constant interruptions for this and that..

As a Customer, we see nothing but hard working Waitresses who have made each meal well worth our time and the small investment because the prices are extremely reasonable. Have enjoyed each meal, made to order and small things being what they are: our coffee cups are always kept full. The cooks have made each meal with perfection and in a timely manner,

Did not like.

It was between 9 and 9:30 pm on Sat the 18th. It was freezing cold in there. Luckily we got done before the food was to awfully cold. And the prices on some of the stuff on their menu is not worth it. And a cook named Brad was one heck of a cook and is not there anymore. You will be missed by many. 🙁 And the peppered gravy never taste very good at night. Other then that not to bad but not the greatest.o

Staff was amazing!!! The good was good until as we were eating our onion rings our son saw a roach crawling on the windowsill. Needless to say the meal was over. But like I said, the staff was very empathic! I will give them another chance in a couple of months!!
